Located on the Denton campus, this educational teaching classroom was completed by our team in 2019 for the faculty and students of the Teach North Texas Department. The project scope included - demolition, painting/construction, lights, security and high tech installation.
The purpose of this project was to renovate an existing lecture classroom into a dual-function room of observation and AI teaching in order to train students studying with Tech North Texas to become teachers. The student teaches and interacts with children in AI software while other students in the class sit behind the one way glass to observe.
My tasks included but were not limited to: design assistance, field verification, coordination and communication with the contractors, AutoCAD drawings and details, construction documents, work orders, invoice processing, balancing the budget, documentation and project close out. The project team consisted of Kim Nguyen; Project Manager, Heather Dinh; Design Assistant and myself; Design Assistant.
